MTV VMAs 2025: See The Complete Winners List

The 2025 MTV Video Music Awards were held on Sunday, September 8, at New York’s UBS Arena, with rapper LL Cool J hosting the ceremony.

Ariana Grande earned the night’s top honor, winning Video of the Year for her track Brighter Days Ahead, and collected three awards in total.

Lady Gaga was the evening’s biggest winner, securing four trophies, including Artist of the Year. Sabrina Carpenter also took home three “Moon Person” awards, among them Album of the Year for Short n’ Sweet.

Other major wins included Rosé, who received Song of the Year for APT., her collaboration with Bruno Mars, while KATSEYE won MTV Push Performance of the Year for Touch. Gaga and Mars also shared Best Collaboration for Die With a Smile.

Special honors went to Mariah Carey, who was presented with the Video Vanguard Award; Busta Rhymes, recipient of the inaugural Rock the Bells Visionary Award; and Ricky Martin, who received the first-ever Latin Icon Award.
