A teenager, identified as Anuoluwapo Mitchell, has sparked significant social media conversation after sharing a leaked chat from Thursday, January 15, 2026, between herself and Afrobeats superstar Davido.
In the exchange, the singer firmly denied being her father, revealing that five separate DNA tests have already returned negative results.
Davido detailed the history of these tests, stating that one was conducted ten years ago, two were performed at hospitals he selected, and the remaining two were done at facilities chosen by Anu’s mother.
Despite the negative outcomes, Anu appealed for one final test to establish her identity, citing years of bullying and emotional distress she has faced since age six due to the unresolved paternity claim.
In response to the public appeal, Davido took to social media and the leaked chat to express his frustration, accusing Anu’s mother, Ayo Labinjoh, of being an “obsessed fan” and manipulating the situation.
He maintained that he has never had a relationship with her outside of the DNA testing process and threatened legal action, including potential arrest, for what he described as persistent harassment.
Ayo Labinjoh has since countered Davido’s claims, alleging that the previous tests were fraudulent or compromised. She asserted that her daughter’s blood was once discarded before a fake result was produced and announced her intention to seek the assistance of the U.S. State Department to supervise a fresh, independent DNA test, citing Davido’s American citizenship.
