Delta Businessman Petitions IGP Over Alleged Security Guard Conspiracy
A Delta-based businessman, Mr Emmanuel Mouka, has written a petition to the Inspector General of Police, seeking a thorough investigation into his security guard over alleged suspicious activities and fears of a long-running conspiracy linked to earlier attacks on his life.
In the petition prepared by his legal team, led by Hon. Peter Mrakpor, SAN, a former Attorney General of Delta State, Mouka explained that he installed CCTV cameras and hired a private security guard to protect his residence at Otite, Sapele, following repeated attacks at his former home in 2022.
According to him, his previous residence was targeted multiple times by unknown assailants, including an incident where his kitchen was allegedly invaded and his food and drinks poisoned, an experience he said nearly claimed his life.
Troubled by those events, Mouka relocated to his current home at No. 1 Alex Close, Otite. However, fresh concerns emerged after CCTV footage reportedly captured his security guard, identified as Jonathan Ombebe, entering his kitchen between August 27 and 30, 2025, and tampering with food items and cooking pots.
Mouka stated that the guard’s actions have raised “grave suspicion of possible conspiracy,” prompting his call for police investigation to determine whether Ombebe is part of a wider syndicate or connected to the attacks he suffered in 2022.

He further appealed to the family of one Happy Uboh, who allegedly gained access to his former premises on April 19, 2022, after sending him an SMS claiming to be ill, to review the CCTV evidence of the incidents that led him to seek police intervention at the time.
Mouka insisted that it is unjust for him to face accusations while he continues to experience what he described as coordinated threats to his safety.
