Lagos Shifts Start Date For Lekki–Ajah Road Rehabilitation
The Lagos State Government has announced a postponement of the planned rehabilitation of the Lekki–Ajah corridor, which had been slated to begin on Saturday, November 15.
The update was issued by the Lagos Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, in a statement released on Tuesday, November 18.
According to the commissioner, the project will no longer kick off as earlier scheduled, and a fresh start date will be revealed later. While major works are on hold, preliminary preparations will continue through the end of the month.

He added that the government values the patience and cooperation of motorists and residents, reaffirming its commitment to upgrading critical roads across the state and delivering safer, smoother travel experiences for everyone.
