Violent Clashes Erupt During Lahore High Court Bar Elections

A physical confrontation between legal professionals broke out within the Lahore High Court premises in Pakistan during the Bar Association’s electoral proceedings.

The altercation, which was captured in several viral social media videos, primarily involved a male and a female lawyer engaging in a violent exchange. Footage reveals a chaotic environment characterized by shouting and the use of gender-based slurs by those present.

The recorded incident shows the female lawyer striking her colleague with an object resembling a fan component, followed by the male lawyer responding with a physical assault.

As the situation escalated, additional fights broke out between other male lawyers on the scene.

Despite the gravity of the violence occurring within a major judicial institution, many onlookers chose to record the event on their phones or vocalize encouragement rather than attempting to de-escalate the conflict.
