Two Dead and Six Kidnapped Following Bandit Assault in Bauchi

Armed attackers killed two villagers and abducted six people, including a pregnant woman, during a raid on a community in Bauchi State.

A violent raid on Rafin Ciyawa village, located in the Ningi Local Government Area of Bauchi State, has resulted in the deaths of two individuals and the kidnapping of six others. Among those taken by the assailants is a pregnant woman.

Security analyst Bakatsine reported the event on the social media platform X this past Monday. He explained that the armed group targeted the community overnight, capturing four men alongside the pregnant woman. In addition to the fatalities and kidnappings, four residents sustained injuries. While two victims were treated and released, two others remain hospitalized in Bauchi for gunshot wounds.

Officials have acknowledged the tragedy and are implementing security measures to address the situation. Families of the victims remain in distress as they wait for news regarding the safety of their abducted loved ones.
