Other African nations to celebrate wins in this tournament include Egypt, Algeria, Ivory Coast, Ghana, and Morocco, which secured two victories. Historically, Ivory Coast was the first to win, followed by Ghana, Morocco, Egypt, and Algeria. Conversely, Senegal, Cape Verde, DR Congo, and Tunisia have yet to record a win in the competition.
