Police Arrests Eight Suspects Over Cult-Related Killings At Yabatech
The Tactical operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested eight individuals linked to multiple cult-related killings around Yaba College of Technology and its surrounding areas in an intelligence-driven operation on April 29, 2025.
The arrested suspects include Adeyemo Abdulsamad, 24, also known as Cloud; Afeez Enitan, 28; Ayomide Daniel, 30; Olamilekan Adeagbo, 26, known as Skinny; Mayor Samson, 28; Basit Ishola, 20; Quadri Sikiru, 26; and Mariam Salihu, 23.
During the operation, authorities recovered the following items from the suspects: one Beretta pistol, four 9mm rounds of ammunition, one cartridge, two battle axes, and two cutlasses.
Confirming their arrest, the police spokesperson, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, stated that investigations are ongoing to determine the full scope of the suspects’ involvement in cult activities. He assured the public that the suspects will face the full consequences of the law.
