Nigerian Woman Says Her Wealthy Uncle Neglects Family Despite Owning Over 30 Filling Stations
A Nigerian woman identified as Titilope has sparked conversations online after sharing a striking story about her wealthy ‘uncle’ who, despite owning over 30 filling stations, allegedly allows his wives and children to live in hardship.
In a post shared on Wednesday, she recounted witnessing one of the man’s sons hustling under the scorching sun as a POS operator—despite the family’s apparent wealth.
Her post has stirred reactions online, with many questioning generational responsibility, parental duty, and the distribution of wealth within families.
“This life ehn. I’m at my “uncle’s” filling station: one of over 30 he owns. Yet his son hustles outside at the POS under the scorching sun. How does a man have so much wealth, yet his wives and children live in lack? The day he d!es, some of us might dance, not mourn,” she wrote on Wednesday.
