Nigerian Army Troops Eliminate Four Bandits, Capture One in Zamfara Night Operation
Nigerian Army troops from Operation Fansan Yanma have eliminated four armed criminals and apprehended one suspect during a nighttime operation in Nasarawa village, Anka Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
According to intelligence sources speaking to security analyst Zagazola Makama, the operation began late on February 10, 2025, and extended into the early hours of Monday. It targeted a notorious bandit hideout responsible for terrorizing the area.
Among those killed was a well-known individual from Nasarawa village, long suspected of involvement in criminal activities.
Acting on credible intelligence, troops launched a decisive assault, engaging the bandits in an intense firefight.
Four criminals were neutralized, while another suspect was captured and taken into custody for further investigation.
This operation is part of the Nigerian Military’s ongoing efforts to dismantle bandit groups and restore peace in the region.
