NIDCOM Chairman Abike Dabiri Responds to Social Media Threats by Asari Dokubo: ‘My Job Schedule Covers International Matters’
The Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has responded to a social media user who called her attention to a video where former militant leader Asari Dokubo allegedly threatened Igbos with a firearm during a live session.
The concerned user, known as Queen Bee on the platform X (formerly Twitter), urged Dabiri to address the matter, citing the seriousness of the threats.
In her response, Dabiri-Erewa clarified that her responsibilities are limited to incidents occurring within the Nigerian diaspora, stating, “Did it happen in the diaspora? That’s my job schedule. Check @nidcom_gov website for more on our job schedule. Let me know of more cases like Amaka’s. We will deal with them appropriately.”
