Napoli Demand Hojlund and £33.6m from Man Utd for Osimhen Transfer

Napoli have set a price of Rasmus Hojlund plus £33.6 million from Manchester United for Victor Osimhen in the ongoing summer transfer window.

Manchester United are eager to strengthen their squad with a new striker after failing to secure any trophies in the 2024/25 season under manager Ruben Amorim.

The Red Devils are also pursuing Liam Delap from Ipswich Town, who is available this summer due to a £30 million relegation release clause in his contract.

However, it appears the 22-year-old striker prefers a move to Premier League west London club Chelsea this summer.

As a result, Manchester United are considering other options. According to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, the club has intensified talks to sign Osimhen.

The report reveals that United’s director of football, Matt Hargreaves, recently traveled to Italy for discussions with Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis and sporting director Giovanni Manna to push for the deal.

Osimhen, 26, has a £63 million release clause in his Napoli contract, valid only for clubs outside Italy.

His loan spell with Galatasaray ends in June, and the Nigerian forward has yet to make a decision about his next move.
