Mystery Shrouds Death Of Woman And Two Children In Nasarawa Village

Grief hangs over Sayidna village in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State after a woman and her two children were found dead under unexplained circumstances, stirring fear and suspicion among locals.

The tragic discovery was made around 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2025, when concerned residents noticed an eerie silence from the family’s room and raised the alarm. Upon forcing entry, they found the lifeless bodies of the woman and her children.

According to security analyst Zagazola Makama, the identities of the victims remain unknown, and no relatives or acquaintances have yet stepped forward to claim them. Neighbours describe the family as “relatively new” and unfamiliar to the community.

Although no visible injuries were found on the bodies, foam was observed around the mouth of one of the children, prompting speculation about possible poisoning or suffocation. The remains were quickly evacuated to Uke General Hospital for an autopsy to uncover the true cause of death.

The Nasarawa State Police Command has launched an investigation, but details remain scarce as of press time.

This heartbreaking incident has left villagers shaken, with many demanding swift answers and heightened vigilance.
