Mob Beats Two Brothers To Death Over Alleged Livestock Theft In Katsina
Two brothers, Gaddafi Isah, 35, and Badamasi Isah, 30, were beaten to death by a mob in Katsayal village, located in the Sandamu Local Government Area of Katsina State, over allegations of livestock theft.
This information was shared by counter-insurgency expert and security analyst, Zagazola Makama, on his X account on Monday, April 7, 2025.
He mentioned that intelligence sources indicated the two victims, who were in the process of learning to drive, had taken their father’s vehicle to the outskirts of the village for practice.
During this, a mob confronted them, accusing them of stealing livestock.
He further stated that the mob surrounded the two men and viciously beat them, resulting in injuries of varying severity.
“The victims were rescued by the security forces who were deployed to the scene and rushed to the Community Health Centre in Sandamu for treatment, but they were later confirmed d3ad by a medical doctor,” he said.
He also revealed that the vehicle the deceased victims were driving was damaged during the attack. The police have initiated an investigation into the incident, and efforts are ongoing to capture those responsible for the attack.
