Man Detained For Allegedly Raping A 12-Year-Old Girl

Men of the Adamawa state police command on July 24 arrested a 30-year-old man identified as Hussaini Salihu for allegedly s#xually ass@ulting a 12-year-old girl (name withheld).

According to the police, the suspect lured the victim into his house and had carnal knowledge of her, then gave her N2,000 before escaping. He was later trailed and apprehended by the Police following a report from the victim’s mother.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the command, SP Nguroje, said the suspect voluntarily made a confessional statement and will be charged to court.
