Kano Govt Files New Charges Against Ganduje
The Kano State Government has filed new charges against former governor Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje.
The charges, detailed in case No. K/143c/24, allege criminal conspiracy and misappropriation involving Ganduje and the former Commissioner for Justice, Musa Lawan. These charges are brought under Section 308 and are punishable under Section 309 of the Penal Code (as amended) CAP 105, Vol. 2, Laws of Kano State of Nigeria.
Additionally, the charges cite Sections 97 and 315, accusing Ganduje and Lawan of abuse of office. The state government has indicated its intention to present four witnesses in the case.
As of now, no date has been set for the arraignment.
