Gunmen Reportedly Attack Senator Natasha Akpoti’s Family Home In Kogi
Unknown hoodlums wielding cutlasses and firearms reportedly attacked the family home of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan in Obeiba-Ihima, Okehi LGA of Kogi State.
Security sources told analyst Zagazola Makama that the Senator’s Chief Security Officer, Yakubu Ovanja, reported the incident to authorities.
According to Ovanja, the attack happened around 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, involving at least three armed individuals who vandalized the building and shattered window panes.
A team from Okehi Division responded promptly to a distress call. While no casualties were recorded and no arrests made, the scene was documented and preliminary investigations have begun.
Police said the motive remains unclear. Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan has not yet issued a public statement.
