Genk Targets Move for Striker Rafiu Durosinmi

Belgian side KRC Genk is planning a club-record €10 million bid for Nigerian striker Rafiu Durosinmi as he prepares to exit Pisa.

KRC Genk is currently pursuing Nigerian forward Rafiu Durosinmi as a key transfer target for the upcoming summer window. Although the 23-year-old only recently joined Pisa from the Czech club Viktoria Plzen in January, he is widely expected to depart the team following their recent relegation.

Reports from the Belgian publication Het Nieuwsblad indicate that Genk is prepared to offer €10 million for the striker. If finalized, this deal would represent the highest transfer fee ever paid by the club. At present, Pisa is holding out for an increased fee of €10.5 million.

Genk has a strong history with Nigerian attackers, specifically noting the successful contributions of Paul Onuachu and Tolu Arokodare at the Cegeka Arena. Durosinmi aims to replicate their success should he complete the move to Belgium.
