FG Forms Committee to Combat School Bullying, Launches Hotline
The Federal Ministry of Education announced on Tuesday that it has established a seven-member committee to address bullying in all Nigerian schools, further reinforcing its commitment to student welfare and creating a safe learning environment. The committee will also be tasked with reviewing reported cases and ensuring swift action, working alongside the 21-member team focused on developing a National Policy on Anti-Bullying. To enable confidential reporting, the government has introduced a hotline – 09012660044, email: antibullying@education.gov.ng, and WhatsApp – 08052536133 for individuals to report such cases.
