FG Announces Evacuation of Nigerians in Lebanon Following Iran’s Missile Attacks on Israel
The Federal Government has indicated plans to evacuate Nigerians in Lebanon amid escalating hostilities between Israel and Iran.
On Tuesday, October 1, Iran launched 180 ballistic missiles at Israel in retaliation for the killings of Iran-backed militant leaders.
The violence is likely to impact neighboring countries, including Iraq, Lebanon, and Jordan.
In a message on X.com that evening, the Special Assistant to the President on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, urged all Nigerians in Lebanon to contact the Nigerian mission for profiling and documentation in preparation for their evacuation.
