In a post shared on X, the Nigerian doctor said his mum stated that a female ‘nutritionist’ visited her church after a programme to examine members of the church and came in with a computer which she claimed could diagnose any disease in the body and charged each person as much as N3, 000 to N10, 000.
The X user went on to add that the medical report his mum came home with indicated that she had a number of ailments including poor blood circulation to the brain as well as high possibility of suffering a heart attack or stroke. The doctor further shared a medical report from the said nutritionist with a list of prescriptions for his mum.
Reacting to the development, the X user who is also a medical doctor, wrote
”So yesterday a so-called nutritionist went to a church for medical outreach
There she took a computer which she said was capable of diagnosing every disease in your body
She was charging 3k per person and after noticing how gullible people were she increased it to 10k.
She made a diagnosis of mastitis of the brain and also said the drugs were imported she charged up to 100-300k for them.
What was funny is a lot of church members patronized her”
