Delta Businessman Accuses Soldiers of Looting Boutique Under “Camouflage” Pretext
A boutique owner in Agbarho, Delta State, has raised an alarm over an alleged raid by Nigerian Army officers who reportedly confiscated merchandise valued at ₦200,000.
In a viral video, the store owner claimed that armed personnel from the “Delta Hawk” security formation entered his shop and accused him of selling illegal military camouflage.
The businessman disputed the officers’ claims, asserting that the seized clothing bore no resemblance to official military uniforms.
He further alleged that the soldiers, who arrived in a vehicle marked “O42,” used the opportunity to take various other non-military apparel items from his inventory.
He alleged that men of the Nigerian Army now “rob” citizens just because they are armed.
