Dead Woman Comes Back to Life on the Way to Her Funeral

A woman who had been declared dead at a hospital reportedly “came back to life” en route to her own funeral.

The woman, whose health had taken a sudden decline, was pronounced dead and subsequently transferred from the hospital morgue to a funeral parlour in preparation for burial.

However, staff at the Son Valenti funeral home in Palma, Majorca, were stunned when they noticed the elderly woman had a pulse—and even moved her fingers.

Paramedics were immediately called and confirmed she was alive. She was rushed back to Juan March de Bunyola Hospital for emergency care.

Her current medical condition has not yet been disclosed.

An internal investigation is now underway to determine how the mistaken death declaration occurred.
