Chelsea have reportedly held further talks with Napoli striker Victor Osimhen as they try to reach an agreement over the player’s wages.

This comes after Saudi Pro League club Al-Ahli submitted an initial bid of £55million for Osimhen.

According to Mail Online, Chelsea’s preferred option regarding a deal for Osimhen is a loan with an obligation to buy, rather than an outright purchase.

Napoli and Osimhen have indicated that they may be willing to lower their demands so that a deal can go through before the end of the window.

On Wednesday, Chelsea held further talks with Napoli striker Victor Osimhen to reach an agreement over the player’s wages.

The 25-year-old has scored 76 goals in 133 appearances for the Serie A outfit and played a key role in the 2022/2023 season, scoring 26 goals in 32 league appearances as Napoli won the title.
