The injury worsened during France’s semi-final defeat against Spain, which forced Saliba to leave the pitch after only 30 minutes of play. Upon his return to London, the club will weigh all recovery options, including the possibility of surgery. Such a procedure would likely necessitate a lengthy period of rehabilitation.
Last season, the 25-year-old participated in 50 matches for Arsenal, helping the team secure their first Premier League title in 22 years and reach the Champions League final.
