Aisha Yesufu Urges Nigerians to Lead Anti-Tinubu Coalition Ahead of 2027 Elections
As the coalition against the current government gains momentum, well-known socio-political activist Aisha Yesufu has issued a warning to Nigerians.
Top dissatisfied politicians from both the North and South are uniting to challenge President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
Notable figures like APC leader Chibuike Amaechi, former Vice President Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, and ex-Kaduna State governor Nasir El-Rufai have all pledged to remove Tinubu in the 2027 election.
In a Monday post on X, Mrs. Yesufu urged Nigerians not to leave politics to those who can afford to buy 200 million Naira nomination forms, calling on citizens to actively participate.
“Dear Nigerians, be the drivers of the coalition. Participate in it. Call the shots! Make demands!” She wrote.
“Ask for seats, tickets! While the usual politicians are positioning for the executive positions, position for the legislative position.
“Who do you want as your state house of assembly members, House of Representatives members, Senators.
“Make those part of the coalition conversation.
“Politics should not be left for people who can buy 200 million Naira forms alone.”
