Abductors Kidnap Two Children, Aged 6 And 12, Demand N1m Ransom In Delta
Suspected kidnappers have abducted two children, aged 6 and 12, in Udu, Ovwian Local Government Area of Delta State.
Activist Comrade Israel Joe, who confirmed the incident in a Facebook post said the children were kidnapped on Sunday, July 21, 2024.
According to Joe, the abductors contacted the families of the victims and demanded N500,000 each as ransom.
“Yesterday Sunday the 21st of July, two children were kidnapped, 6 and 12 years respectively. This incident happened at Ogbiki area of Udu, after Ovwian Secondary school,” he wrote.
Just this morning, the kidnappers have called, demanding 500k each from the different parents of the children.
This is getting out of hand as we also heard 200k was paid to some keke kidnappers yesterday. Pls protect your children out there the society is very harsh.”
