32 year old man found dead inside Abuja mosque after prayers.

A 32-year-old man, Rayyanu, was found dead inside a mosque in Paso community, Gwagwalada Area Council, FCT, after the early morning Subhi prayer on Tuesday at around 5:56 a.m., according to resident Ibrahim Musa.

Musa stated that the deceased arrived at the mosque on a motorcycle and decided to take a nap after the prayers but passed away in his sleep.

“It was around 7:28 am when some people, who are in charge of cleaning the mosque, saw the man lying in the mosque.  They tried to wake him for them to clean the mosque but was not responding.’’he said.

Musa added that two men raised an alarm, drawing the attention of local Muslim elders, who rushed the victim to the hospital, where the doctor confirmed him dead. The deceased was later identified and handed over to his relatives for burial.
