16-Year-Old Girl Flogged After Allegedly Caught Trying to Enter Hotel

A video circulating online captures a girl being flogged by a man alleged to be her brother, after she was reportedly caught attempting to sneak out to a hotel.

In the footage, the girl, dressed in green, is seen lying on the floor, pleading for mercy as the man places one foot on her chest and whips her.

“At sixteen you wan do hookup, abi? Na hookup life you wan live at sixteen,” the man asks as he flogs her.

As the girl tries to deny the accusation, the man says, “You dey craze, where you dey go this night before? No be hotel to go do ashawo? No be im you go wan do? At sixteen years old you don see reason to do ashawo.”

The man continues to whip her while verbally reprimanding her.
