Wike Reveals He Signed David Mark’s Land Document to Support His ADC Leadership Role

FCT Minister Nyesom Wike announced he signed a Certificate of Occupancy for ADC National Chairman David Mark to help him conduct business while criticizing past administrative project records.

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, stated on Thursday that he recently signed the Certificate of Occupancy for the National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress, ADC. Wike noted that providing this document will assist Mark in managing his responsibilities more effectively.

This announcement occurred during the inauguration of an interchange project connecting Jahi and Gwarimpa districts. Representing President Bola Tinubu, Senate President Godswill Akpabio attended the event, which was part of the administration’s third-year anniversary celebrations.

During his address, Wike criticized David Mark for his tenure as Senate President, claiming no FCT projects were completed during his eight-year term. In contrast, Wike highlighted the current administration’s productivity, citing that over 25,000 Certificates of Occupancy have been issued in the past three years to improve the ease of doing business. He emphasized that the government does not discriminate based on political affiliation, noting that his decision to sign the document for Mark proves their commitment to serving all Nigerians regardless of their political standing.
