President Trump confirmed that previous strikes had impacted various military and communications infrastructure within Iran. In response, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian described the current situation as a total war with the United States, although Tehran noted that back-channel diplomatic communications remain active despite the failure of recent ceasefire efforts.
Military activity has intensified across the region. Jordan confirmed the interception of three Iranian missiles, while Kuwait reported successfully stopping incoming drones. Bahrain experienced drone activity near its air navigation facilities, though normal operations were maintained.
