Renowned Nigerian vocalist and songwriter Teni has officially debuted her latest EP, The Wellness Package. This release signals a shift toward themes of healing, personal development, and community bonding. According to the News Agency of Nigeria, the six-song collection translates Teni’s recent life lessons into a celebration of laughter, love, and human connection.
This EP represents the first collaboration between Teni and Gamma. Gamma founder Larry Jackson praised her unique talent for cultural resonance, while Gamma Africa President Sipho Dlamini highlighted her contributions to elevating African musical standards. Larry Gaaga, Vice-President of Gamma Africa, noted that the project serves as a transparent look at Teni’s growth.
The EP includes guest appearances from Olamide, Chike, and the highlife duo The Cavemen, with standout tracks such as Zion and Wuru Maya. Teni explained that the music captures her current optimistic mindset and focus on persistent momentum. Complementing the release, the artist has launched community activities like a run club, a treasure hunt for wellness boxes, and a cinematic listening experience to foster deeper fan engagement.
The project arrives on the heels of the hit single Zion, which achieved over 20 million digital streams and sparked half a million user-created videos on TikTok. With a track record of international performances at venues including Madison Square Garden and the O2 Arena, Teni continues to solidify her global presence through this celebration of self-discovery.
