As the reigning titleholders, Nigeria’s Super Falcons are set to showcase a new uniform adorned with 10 stars during the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations. These stars serve as a tribute to the team’s unprecedented 10 victories in the premier continental women’s football tournament, cementing their status as the most accomplished squad in WAFCON history.
Led by manager Justine Madugu, the team debuted the gear during a 2-1 friendly victory over the Tanzanian Twiga Stars this past Thursday. Nigeria enters the upcoming competition, hosted by Morocco and starting this Saturday, with the goal of securing an 11th championship trophy. The Super Falcons’ campaign kicks off on Tuesday at Rabat’s Al Madina Stadium against the Malawi Scorchers, who are making their first appearance in the tournament.
