Ghazy responded for Egypt with a penalty, Uchenna Kanu reclaimed the two-goal lead for Nigeria in the 81st minute. Chidinma Ucheibe then extended the lead to 4-1 shortly after via another penalty.
While Ghazy secured her second goal of the match in stoppage time, the Super Falcons remained relentless. Rasheedat Ajibade netted a late penalty during the extended time, and an additional goal finalized the 6-2 scoreline. This victory sets up a quarter-final clash against Group D winners, Cameroon, as Nigeria continues its campaign for another continental trophy.
