Sunday Igboho Pledges Allegiance to President Tinubu, Labels Aregbesola an Ungrateful Individual

Yoruba activist Sunday Igboho has pledged his full support for President Bola Tinubu, while criticizing Rauf Aregbesola for what he describes as ungrateful behavior toward his political benefactor.

Sunday Adeyemo, widely known as Igboho, has publicly stated his commitment to supporting President Bola Tinubu, while distancing himself from Rauf Aregbesola, the National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress. Speaking to the APC Youth Network in Accra, Ghana, Igboho emphasized his loyalty to the President.

Igboho noted that he feels a deep sense of gratitude toward Tinubu for assisting in his return from exile. He explicitly stated his intention to back the current administration for a full eight-year term, contrasting his position with that of Aregbesola. The activist criticized Aregbesola for turning against his political mentor, despite having previously served as a Commissioner and a federal minister under the support of Tinubu.

Reflecting on previous administrations, such as those of Obasanjo, Buhari, and Jonathan, Igboho expressed his firm belief that Tinubu will successfully complete two full terms in office. He characterized any opposition to this outcome as unlikely, asserting that the President would remain in power for the full eight years.
