Shehu Sani, the former senator for Kaduna Central, has stated that notorious bandit leaders Bello Turji and Ado Aleru ought to be neutralized following the successful elimination of Zamfara-based kingpin Yellow Kachalla. Sani described the death of Kachalla as a significant milestone in the ongoing efforts to combat terrorism throughout Northern Nigeria.
Sharing his thoughts on X, Sani remarked that the removal of the infamous bandit by security forces represents a substantial win for national stability. He explicitly called for the same outcome for other prominent criminal figures like Turji and Aleru.
Kachalla, who was responsible for numerous kidnappings, fatal attacks, and cattle rustling incidents across the North-West, was killed this past Friday at the Dan Jibga Market in Zamfara State’s Anka Local Government Area. Reports suggest he was shot by armed individuals linked to the rival leader Dogo Gide. Before his death, Kachalla held significant power as a commander over vast forested territories throughout the Anka, Bukkuyum, and Maru local government regions.
