NDC Encourages Nigerians to Register for PVCs to Shape the Nation’s Future

The Nigeria Democratic Congress is pushing for citizens to secure their Permanent Voter Cards in preparation for the 2027 elections, viewing the ballot as the primary means to influence national governance.

With the 2027 general elections approaching, the National Working Committee of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) is calling on citizens to register for their Permanent Voter Cards (PVC) through the Independent National Electoral Commission. The party emphasizes that holding a PVC is essential for citizens to engage in the electoral process and help define the nation’s trajectory.

Barrister Osa Director, the National Publicity Secretary for the NDC, stated that the voter card is a vital tool for exercising democratic rights and shaping government policy. During a recent mobilization campaign, he encouraged young people and first-time voters to ensure they complete their registration.

Director argued that real progress is only possible when the public takes an active role in voting. He called for national unity to foster a future defined by justice, expanded opportunities, and effective leadership. He also urged voters to back candidates dedicated to national transformation. The NDC remains focused on prioritizing security, economic growth, and improved quality of life, asserting that the ballot remains the most effective way for citizens to advocate for change.
