Rangers Sign Hull City Goalkeeper Ivor Pandur

Rangers have acquired goalkeeper Ivor Pandur from Hull City on a four-year deal, with Jack Butland expected to head to the Championship club in return.

Rangers have finalized the signing of Croatian international goalkeeper Ivor Pandur from Hull City for an undisclosed fee. As part of this transition, the current Rangers starter, Jack Butland, is expected to depart for Hull City shortly.

Pandur, 26, has agreed to a four-year contract with the Scottish club. His departure from Hull follows a successful season where he made 48 appearances, helping the team secure promotion to the Premier League. The transfer allows Hull to address a £6 million deficit related to Profit and Sustainability Rules.

The Croatian shot-stopper, who began his career at Rijeka and spent time with Hellas Verona, joined Hull in January 2024. During his tenure at Hull, he kept 14 clean sheets and played a pivotal role in their play-off success. At Rangers, Pandur will compete for the number one shirt with Liam Kelly.

Statistically, Pandur recorded 150 saves last season with a save percentage of 69.8%. Jack Butland, who joined Rangers from Crystal Palace in 2023, maintains a slightly higher save percentage of 70.7% over his 157 appearances for the Ibrox side.
