Members of the Nigerian Army attached to the 82 Division and the South-East Joint Task Force, Operation UDO KA, successfully targeted a criminal sanctuary located in Imo State. During the raid, soldiers discovered a pump-action firearm, uniforms resembling military attire, and various other supplies.
This information was released by security analyst Zagazola Makama via social media. According to the report, the mission was triggered by information provided by a logistics operative and weapons handler who was detained by military personnel shortly before the raid.
On July 3, soldiers from the 34 Artillery Brigade navigated challenging terrain to reach the site in Obiakpu Community, situated in the Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area. When the military arrived, they engaged in a brief skirmish with the occupants. The suspects eventually retreated into the nearby bush after being overwhelmed by the soldiers’ response.
