The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has announced the successful interception of a vessel at the Apapa seaport in Lagos, where officers discovered 20 kilograms of cocaine.Agency spokesperson Femi Babafemi issued a statement on Friday confirming the seizure.

Babafemi detailed that the ship, identified as MV Nord Bosporus (registration number 9760110), had sailed from Santos, Brazil. NDLEA agents located the Class A controlled substance concealed beneath the vessel’s general cargo on Sunday, November 16, 2025.
