N45 Million Car Unclaimed for Two Years
A Nigerian car dealer has sparked concern online after revealing that a customer who paid ₦45 million for a vehicle in 2023 has yet to collect it two years later.
Taking to social media, the bewildered seller shared his experience, saying the luxury car remains untouched in his lot. Despite repeated attempts to reach out, the buyer has gone silent.
“Customer paid in full, ₦45 million, no questions asked. But since then, no calls, no collection, nothing. The car is still parked in my garage. I’m starting to get worried,” he posted.
The revelation triggered an outpouring of speculation and concern, with one user on X (formerly Twitter) suggesting a grim possibility: “The person might have died. It happens more than you think.”
Others proposed alternative theories ranging from money laundering to intentional abandonment due to a change in financial circumstances. Some even raised questions about proper documentation and whether the car legally still belongs to the original buyer.
The post has since gone viral, sparking debate about luxury spending habits, silent wealth, and the eerie realities of unresolved transactions in Nigeria’s high-end auto market.
