Flutterwave Supports Young Nigerian Entrepreneurs at YEEP 2026

Flutterwave partnered with the Activate Success International Foundation at YEEP 2026 to provide mentorship and grants to young Nigerian entrepreneurs.

Flutterwave, a prominent African payments technology firm, renewed its support for youth-led business growth by collaborating with the Activate Success International Foundation during the 2026 National Youth Entrepreneurship & Empowerment Programme (YEEP) in Abuja. The summit gathered various industry stakeholders, mentors, and aspiring business owners to examine how technology and networking can drive economic progress.

During a discussion with Love Idoko-Uloko, CEO of the Activate Success Foundation, Flutterwave founder Olugbenga Agboola explained that his company aims to provide the foundational tools necessary for African businesses to operate seamlessly in global markets. He recounted the company’s early challenges and emphasized the significant influence of mentorship, specifically noting the guidance provided by the late Herbert Wigwe in Flutterwave’s developmental stages.

Agboola urged participants to embrace current digital opportunities, stressing that consistency and self-investment are vital for success. Supporting this sentiment, Flutterwave’s Olufunmilayo Olaniyi highlighted the company’s focus on eliminating obstacles for new entrepreneurs through accessible payment technology. As a practical commitment to this mission, the initiative presented more than 25 grants to Nigerian entrepreneurs to help foster their business expansion.
