Jimmy Donaldson, the global YouTube icon widely recognized as MrBeast, has wed author and fellow creator Thea Booysen. The couple held a secluded wedding ceremony on Necker Island in the Caribbean, owned by billionaire Richard Branson.
The 28-year-old digital star, who commands the largest subscriber count on YouTube, shared several photos of the event on Instagram. The images captured the pair in various wedding ensembles, including a classic tailored suit for Donaldson and a lace gown for Booysen, followed by more relaxed attire for the reception.
Roughly 70 guests attended the week-long festivities, which commenced on July 14. Attendees spent the time leading up to the vows participating in coastal activities such as kitesurfing and snorkeling. An ordained family friend presided over the ceremony.
Donaldson expressed his deep happiness online, stating that the wedding was the best day of his life. The couple first crossed paths in South Africa in 2022 after being introduced by a mutual friend. They became engaged on Christmas Day in 2024.
