Labourer Electrocuted at Private University in Ogun
A laborer died from electrocution while working at a private university in the Ajebo area of Ogun State.
Monday Koja lost his life on Wednesday, October 16, due to a wrongful wire connection that caused the electrocution.
A native of Benue State, Koja was working with some bricklayers at Macpherson University in Seriki Sotayo when he attempted to connect electricity for the workers and accidentally connected the positive and negative wires, resulting in his death.
Although Koja was not an electrician, he was taken to the university’s hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police officers who visited the site reported no suspicion of foul play.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Ipara morgue, and further investigations into the incident are underway.
