Joseph Yobo Commends FCT Infrastructure Progress Under President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope

Joseph Yobo has lauded the FCT’s infrastructure development and Nyesom Wike’s leadership, noting their alignment with the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Former captain of the Super Eagles, Joseph Yobo, has expressed admiration for the rapid pace of infrastructure projects within the Federal Capital Territory. He linked these improvements directly to the Renewed Hope Agenda championed by the administration of President Bola Tinubu.

During the opening of the Abuja City Walk, Yobo remarked that the capital is undergoing a transformative period that signifies a major improvement in the delivery of essential services. He specifically lauded FCT Minister Nyesom Wike for establishing a new standard for public administration through his focus on tangible development.

Yobo noted that while execution has historically been a hurdle in Nigerian governance, the FCT administration is proving that bold leadership yields results. He highlighted that these landmark projects, which include roads and public facilities, mirror Wike’s previous efforts to prioritize infrastructure during his time leading Rivers State.

Beyond physical construction, Yobo shared his belief that the sports sector in the FCT will flourish under Wike’s guidance. Citing the Minister’s historical commitment to athletics, Yobo stated he is optimistic about the future enhancement of sports programs and facilities in the capital.
