Edo Security Corps Detains Three Suspects for Homicide and Clandestine Burial

Three people have been arrested by the Edo State Security Corps for the murder and secret burial of a Kebbi State woman named Hannah.

Edo State Security Corps (ESSC) officials have apprehended three individuals accused of murdering and covertly burying a woman named Hannah, who was originally from Kebbi State. Deputy Corps Commander of Operations, Richard Balogun, presented the detainees in Benin City.

According to Balogun, the victim’s boyfriend, Daddy Alli from Taraba State, organized the plot alongside his co-conspirators to kill Hannah and hide her body. Intelligence provided by the Ovia North East Local Government Area tactical teams led to the arrests.

The suspects transported the victim to a building under construction where they buried her to cover up the crime and prevent authorities from investigating. Following their confession, the suspects were transferred to the Ekiadolo Police division for additional inquiries. While three remain in custody, authorities are still searching for a fourth suspect named Dada who managed to evade capture.
