Daniel Siad, a 69-year-old modelling scout with documented ties to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, has died. Authorities discovered his body on Monday at his residence in Colombes, a suburb located northwest of Paris.
The Nanterre prosecutor’s office confirmed the death and stated that an official inquiry is underway to establish the circumstances of his passing. A medical examination is scheduled to determine the cause of death.
Siad’s name was referenced frequently within the Epstein files made public by the United States government. While he consistently denied awareness of any danger presented by Epstein, he was implicated by an Epstein survivor identified as Anya, who claimed Siad facilitated her introduction to the financier. Prior to a recent BBC report, Siad’s legal representation declined to comment, maintaining his previous assertions of innocence regarding knowledge of Epstein’s predatory behavior.
