Nigerian social media personality and streamer Carter Efe has openly ridiculed Babcock University’s intent to initiate legal proceedings against him. The institution recently declared its intention to take legal measures following Efe’s public assertion that he graduated with a First Class degree from their establishment.
The controversy stems from an interview where Efe claimed academic excellence, later supporting this statement by posting an alleged falsified certificate on the platform X. In response, Babcock University stated its commitment to prosecuting those involved in such document forgery.
During a subsequent live broadcast, Efe brushed off the university’s warning. He jokingly remarked that he would only make an appearance to discuss the matter if the university paid a 100,000 Naira entry fee. He challenged the institution, suggesting that they would have to purchase a ticket to see him.
