Adesina Adeyemi-Doro, the former governorship candidate for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Osun State, has clarified his choice to exit the contest and throw his support behind the All Progressives Congress (APC).

During a Monday appearance on Channels Television’s program, The Morning Brief, Adeyemi-Doro stated that his primary motivation was to prioritize the welfare of the state. He emphasized that true political engagement should focus on a dedication to public service rather than the pursuit of individual goals.

Reflecting on the choice, he noted that extensive consultation and deep consideration preceded the move. He insisted that the decision was made to benefit the citizens of Osun. Adeyemi-Doro reiterated that he initially sought political office to be of service, and he believes that effective leadership demands the humility to prioritize the common good over personal aspirations.
