The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) is set to publish the 2026 Computer-Based West African Senior School Certificate Examination (CB-WASSCE) results for private candidates this August 4, 2026, as previously scheduled.
To view your scores, you will need a 10-digit examination number, a WAEC e-PIN, a serial number, and a phone or computer with internet access. The e-PIN is available for purchase at a cost of ₦5,000. While older scratch cards are still accepted for up to five attempts, they are restricted to a single candidate’s profile.
You may check your results via the WAEC official website, the mobile application, or through SMS. For the online portal, simply enter your 10-digit identification number—comprising a 7-digit centre code and a 3-digit candidate number—followed by your PIN and serial number. Pressing the submit button will display your performance.
The SMS option is available for MTN, Glo, and Airtel subscribers, allowing you to receive results directly via text message, though standard network fees will apply. Generally, Nigerian universities require a minimum of five credits, including Mathematics and English, with C6 being the lowest acceptable grade.
If a result is withheld, it typically suggests an ongoing inquiry into potential malpractice. In such cases, students should consult their school examination officer or contact the nearest WAEC state office with their documentation to seek resolution.
